About Surrey, British Columbia

Surrey is BC's second largest city and the 12th largest in Canada, and is located only 35 minutes south east of Vancouver. With a population of 470,000 citizens, Surrey is known for its diversity, blend of landscapes, and friendly community. Visitors world-wide are drawn to its lush green terrain and popular amenities. South of the city is the US state of Washington, a popular recreation and vacation destination for many Surrey homeowners.

The city is an excellent place to raise a family: children can attend any of the 100 elementary schools, 19 secondary schools or 23 independent schools. Within Surrey there are 2 major post-secondary institutions, Kwantlen Polytechnic and Simon Fraser University's Surrey Campus.
